From the first words out of Saul Tigh's mouth I thought, Jesus that's the most Canadian sounding guy I've ever heard. Cue standard googling and filmography checks that result in discovering Michael Hogan starred in "The Peanut Butter Solution". A Canadian of the highest order. At first, I despised his one-liners and fool hardy ways but toward the end of the last season he became one of my favourites.
Because I watched the whole thing over the last two months or so, I did not deposit the emotional investment as some of you who watched it while it was being released did. Nonetheless, I loved it. Plausible and feasible scenarios with the right amount of back story sprinkled with some kiss-my-ass!! And some serious battle scenes at just the right frequency. Mid-way through season two, for some strange reason I visited this sub and wanted to burn my eyes out and smash my head against a brick wall. Luckily I did not see any huge spoilers and am recovering well. The whiplash was minor.
In conclusion, what I love mostly about shows like this is that it actually ended. And it did so, in my opinion, beautifully.
