So an acquaintance of mine gave me an old set of his Air Force ABUs (you know, the new tiger stripe pattern you see) and said I could have them if I wanted to use them for a Stargate cosplay.
Because I'm so picky about cosplay and wanting it to look nice and movie/show quality, I am not sure if I'd want to use the ABU as a Stargate uniform since they never wore them in the series. They wore the Green, Desert BDU and black tactical.
So in all you fine folks opinions, would it be wrong or stupid to use the ABUs to make a Stargate cosplay out of since technically it is the Air Force pattern now, we just never saw them use it? Or would it be better to trade them in for a set in Green, Desert or Black?
TL;DR Would ABU AF Tiger stripes be ok to use as a SG team cosplay or should I trade for a more series accurate uniform set?
