Spoilers ahead. Inconsistencies that bother you.

Just watched Progeny from SGA. Some things that bother me.

The code change should have worked the way it was intended to. It is all the replicators wanted from the Ancients. Doing this for them should have been it and they would comply with whatever Dr Weir asked for.

There was no reason to destroy the city ship since the code worked. Dr Weir was just being an asshole.

As for the zpm overload, there was no reason to use all three since just a few episodes earlier only a half depleted one would have destroyed the entire Atlantis planet. Not to mention that a full one was enough to destroy our entire solar system in sg1.

I feel as if these inconsistencies are just convenient for the writers. This is just bad storytelling and bad writing.

There are many more things that bother me in SGA. I'm sure there's many in SG1 as well.

What things can you think of?
