In my effort to watch all the shows again along with this commentary http://ift.tt/1NGo8Cb I started up The Next Generation today
1-I like Troi in an official uniform. Always bugged me that she wore such casual clothing on the bridge. Also kind of neat to see her take a more active role. Much of the series she has very little to do.
2- I like the separated Enterprise, there are many times they could have used this.
3- Unbearded Riker is so strange.
4- Man, Wesley was young.
5- Having just finished TOS, Picard is so formal and brisk as a Captain. Glad he eased up a bit in later episodes, but he is simply different than Kirk. Not better or worse, just different.
6- Crewmen in skirts, glad this did not continue.
Looking forward to many fun episodes.
